Driving Directions: To get to Traditions Square apartments from I-35 you can take the Lindsey exit heading east. As you approach campus you will head right (south) on Chautauqua Avenue. For Traditions Square West, you will keep going straight past the museum until you see Traditions Square West apartments on the right. To get to Traditions Square East, you will need to turn left (east) onto Timberdell Drive. Follow Timberdell to Asp Avenue where you will turn right (north). Follow Asp and you will see Traditions Square East on your right.
Directions To Campus: Both Traditions
Square locations are within walking distance of campus. In addition,
campus-wide transit has stops at both locations.
If you are walking from Traditions Square East, walk to the nearest apartment community exit and turn left (north) onto Asp Ave. Following this street will lead you to the OU Residence Halls and the south end of campus. Continue walking and you will reach Lindsey St. Crossing Lindsey will lead you to the South Oval and the location of several classroom buildings.
If you are walking from Traditions Square West, you have a couple options. You may leave the apartment community via the exit located on Imhoff and take a left (east). Cross Chatauqua at the stop light and continue walking until you see Asp Ave. located on the left side of the road. This will take you to the south end of OU Traditions Square East. Follow the above directions to walk from Traditions Square East to campus. If you would like to take a different route, you may leave the West apartment community via the exit on Chatauqua and turn left. Continue walking north on Chatauqua until you see Lindsey St. Cross Chatauqua and begin walking right (east) on Lindsey. This will take you to the South Oval of campus (just north of the Residence Halls).
